Bring your station into the broadcast.
Our initial feeder-station strategy is intentionally simple: start with operators who already have a stable livestream and build a repeatable, appliance-friendly path from there.

| Existing stream | Required for the current testing and pilot phase. You already operate a working amateur-radio livestream and often stream your contesting activities. |
| Station video | At minimum, a useful operator or station view. Multiple views are welcome but not required for initial testing. |
| Radio audio | Clean contest receive/transmit audio suitable for rebroadcast. |
| Internet | Stable upstream connectivity appropriate for your normal livestream. |
| Back channel | A separate path for the production team to communicate without disrupting operating. |
| Behavior | Comfortable with occasional moderator questions and willing to explain operating choices when practical. |
How pilot participation will work
- Express your interest: share your public livestream or channel link through the contact form.
- Board review: the board reviews your interest and follows up about potential participation.
- Setup guidance: selected pilot participants receive guidance for the agreed contribution setup.
- Technical rehearsal: test the picture, audio, and production communication before planned coverage.
- Participation confirmation: confirm any broadcast participation after the rehearsal and coverage arrangements are agreed.
Software guidance and future hardware
OBS software setup materials are being developed and tested to help pilot participants prepare their feeds. These software materials are not a shipped hardware kit and are not yet offered as an approved public download.
What we're trying to avoid
We do not want the feeder specification to become a second contest station that every pilot participant must learn and maintain. Longer-term, the goal is to standardize around small, appliance-focused hardware that can be configured once, shipped if necessary, and operated with minimal local management.
Providing physical streaming hardware remains a possible future phase, not part of the current pilot offer.
